Arroyo's Run for Survival

Local newspaper cites Arroyo's bid for Congress as Political Survival. For me its more than that. It's more about GREED. It could be her last chance to cover up their multi billion dollar Chinese Loan Deal and the massive election cheating last Presidential Election.

More of her party allies have moved from the sinking Lakas-Kampi being pulled down by her flanking popularity. They were left with no option but to get Edu Manzano (who is he?) as the running mate of Gibo Teodoro for his presidential bid.

I am praying for the 2nd district of Pampanga to not just think of themselves but consider the entire Philippines in casting their votes. They may have benefited from the Arroyo, but putting her in the congress this time will not solve their centuries old problem. They must come to realize that they (the kapampangans) are just being used by the Arroyos' to gain more power for themselves and that will mean billions more to their i'll gotten wealth and injustice to the victims of their previous election crimes. Magisip isip kayo mga kababayan ko. Ginagamit lamang nila kayo. Kung may naibigay sila o nagawa sa inyo, barya lang yan sa mga kinurakot nila. Panahon na para bigyan natin ng katarungan ang kanilang kabuktutan. Huwag nating iboto sa mga susunod na election ang pangulo at ang lahat na kanyang ka-alyado. Mabuhay po ang Pilipinas.

Price of rice!

In the past 30 days, price of rice in the Philippines has soared to new heights. The president said its a global issue. Well, it looks like indeed. But the government starts arresting rice hoarder and those taking advantage of the situation. It only shows one thing - that the government is in-efficient in handling situation like these.

In the end, its the masses that suffer. But just the same, she should not say that the economy is improving.
